Baking has always been my passion. It’s something I’ve pursued through self-teaching, experimenting, and learning from my mom and talented pastry chefs along the way. I’ve always dreamed of creating my own baked goods and sharing them with others, and in early 2023 that dream became reality when I opened Susie Bakes Cakes, a cottage bakery dedicated to fresh, from-scratch pastries and desserts.

I love adapting recipes, testing new cake design techniques, and pushing the boundaries of flavor and artistry. My goal is to create one-of-a-kind treats that make every celebration special, whether it’s an elegant cake or crafted espresso drink. To me, great baking is more than just good ingredients; it’s about creating an experience of joy.
